Here’s a cool little thing we’ve been doing this spring: swapping wheel sizes! For example, this Specialized came stock with 650b x 3” mid fat tires, which are great for traction, floatation and exploration. For the drier months our customer asked for a quicker, more nimble set of 29 x 2.35 wheels. The outer diameter is very close, and the wheels are interchangeable. Couple that with Boost hub spacing and a desire to stay within a modest budget and the solution was a nice set of Shimano Deore/ Alex Volar hoops!
