Jeanette Arsenault, Founder
Jeanette has lived in the Quinte area part-time from 1983 to full-time since 1992, first in “The County” (Prince Edward County) and now in Belleville, ON.
She quit her day job in 1989 to switch from part time to full time musician. Life then changed again when her daughter was born in 1994 and she decided to be a full-time Mom & back to part-time musician.
Jeanette made her living playing mostly in the Quinte area with some interesting “out of town” gigs - like for our Olympic Team in Salt Lake City (2002) and in Athens Greece (2004); Helsinki, Finland for a women’s World Congress; on a moving train as VIA Rail’s Artist on Board from Toronto to Vancouver and back; a Maritime tour to launch my Acadian album, to name a few.
But most of her work was in Quinte & surrounding area so she has a rolodex of musicians, venue owners, concert presenters and, like most musicians, has paid her dues. Gigging in bars, festivals, churches, outdoor concerts, pubs, restaurants is a great teacher - she learned her chops along the way.
Jeanette independently released 8 albums (one with her trio, Trinity) and currently has a double album of children’s songs soon to be released.
So having worked both sides of the music business - gigging plus producing/organizing fundraisers, variety concerts - she is now dedicating her time to providing services to musicians - seasoned, novice & emerging.
